Why now?

Whether you like it or not, COVID-19 has changed my life, your life, and lives of billions across this globe. Many lost their lives and many more, lost their livelihoods. As the weeks went on, company after company either started lay offs or filing bankruptcies. I kept thinking what can I do in this situation. Couldn’t sit still and just watch.

So with help from my engineering mentor, I taught myself Javascript and React to make a new web app that can help recruiters find laid-off talent to hire in mere seconds.

Say hello to Hirenow, a vetted talent directory that connects you with talent instantly!

I like it! So how does it work?

It’s simple. You answer only 3 important questions, occupation you’re seeking to hire, years of experience needed(vetted by hirenow), and location. Once you input those fields, a search button will give you specific results along with individual user profiles so you can connect with them(see profile snapshot attached).

Idea is cool but don’t you need people in the list for it to work?

Great question! There’s already over 350+ vetted talent including engineers, designers, and marketers in the list! The tool allows you to sign up instantly as well with the toggle button on the main screen.

Is there a way I can somehow help?

Another solid question! Yes, you can! Many of you have friends and family that might have lost their jobs. Tell them to get on the hirenow.io list asap. It’s free and I don’t do any data collection.
